Australian-French Lyla Levy-Jordan is a recent graduate of the Artist Masters at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. In addition to her studies, Levy-Jordan expanded her training in masterclasses with Thomas Hampson, Graham Johnson, Susan Manoff, Malcolm Martineau, Ann Murray, Hartmut Höll and Julius Drake amongst others.

This season she is engaged at Teatro alla Scala covering Fenena in Verdi's Nabucco, as well as  Carmen and Mércèdes in Bizet's Carmen.

Spanning repertoire from baroque to contemporary, recent operatic engagements include Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflöte with Opera Australia's Young Artist Program, Cornelia in Handel's Giulio Cesare, the title role in Britten's The Rape of Lucretia, and Mrs Tracey in Musgrave's The Voice of Ariadne. She also covered Minsk Woman in South Australian State Opera's production of Jonathan Dove's Flight.

An enthusiastic recitalist, she has performed at the Pierre Boulez Saal, Melbourne Recital Centre and the Barbican Centre. Further concert highlights include Dallapiccola's Il Prigioniero with the London Symphony Orchestra at Barbican Hall, conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano.

In 2022/23 she was a member of the Liedakademie at Heidelberger Frühling Liedzentrum.

Recent awards include the 2024 Lady Galleghan London Award (Opera Foundation for Young Australians), Second Prize at the Sydney International Song Prize (Joan Sutherland and Richard Bonynge Foundation), and Runner Up in the Great Romantics Competition (Melbourne Recital Centre). She has also been a finalist at the ARD Musik Wettbewerb Munich, International Vocal Competition 's-Hertogenbosch, Royal Overseas League Music Competition London, and the Sydney Eisteddfod Operatic Scholarship.
